SCOTT TOWNSHIP | VANDERBURGH COUNTY, INDIANA
- Scott Township was organized out of Armstrong Township on August 13, 1821, and originally included all of its current territory, plus the northern half of what is now Center Township.
- The current (2025) township population estimate is more than 10,600.
- Scott Township is the provider unit for the Vanderburgh County Fire Department (f/k/a Scott Township Fire & EMS), which serves Scott Township, Armstrong Township, German Township, and the Town of Darmstadt.
